Rico Carni has been committed to reducing the environmental impact of its production for years.
The installation of a photovoltaic system allows us to immediately consume the energy it produces to meet our energy needs, and a recently built cogeneration plant allows us to simultaneously produce electricity and heat, thus optimizing the use of energy resources and reducing CO2 emissions.
Eating healthily and living healthily improves the quality of life!
In 2023, we also launched an important slicing line for a total autonomy in production, cutting and packaging of one of our most important product lines, AffetTiamo.
Using recyclable trays, we place all the slices by hand to ensure a product as fresh as if it were just sliced.
